Polyamory, CNM & ENM Counselling

Room for the relationships that matter to you

You may want to talk about jealousy, agreements, closeness or the pressure of other people’s opinions. I offer individual counselling that respects polyamorous and consensually non-monogamous relationships. We can explore what matters to you without assuming how your relationships should look.

Your experience

What this can feel like

You may recognise some of these experiences. We can begin with what matters most to you.

01

Jealousy and insecurity

Trying to understand comparison, uncertainty or fear of losing connection.

02

Agreements and boundaries

Working out what is genuinely wanted and freely agreed.

03

Time and energy

Balancing connections while keeping space for your own needs.

04

New relationships

Navigating excitement, change and the effect on existing connections.

05

Stigma and disclosure

Deciding who to tell and coping with being misunderstood.

06

Relationship change

Making sense of broken agreements, distance, endings or changing expectations.

Making sense of things

There is room for more than one way to relate

Consensual non-monogamy is an umbrella term for relationship arrangements openly agreed by the people involved. Polyamory commonly involves the possibility of more than one romantic relationship. The words you use and agreements you make are yours to explore.

Jealousy, uncertainty or hurt can be meaningful signals about needs and connection. We can consider them with care, alongside consent, differences in expectations and each person’s freedom to choose.

Working together

How therapy can help

I will listen to how your relationships work for you. We can explore your needs, agreements and feelings without assuming that non-monogamy is the problem.

01

Compassion

Validate your experience and make room for complicated feelings. Explore the impact of judgement, comparison or shame.

02

Curiosity

Understand your needs, attachment patterns, expectations and agreements. Notice where assumptions or unequal power create strain.

03

Change

Develop communication and boundaries that fit your values. Consider practical ways to protect time, maintain trust and respond to change.

What change might look like

Relationships with clearer understanding

Change may look like naming a need, making an agreement more explicit, accepting a limit or feeling more secure in choices that fit you.

Your questions
